I live my life through telling stories with my camera. It's a gift to have this passion. The photo above is of a sweet family in Denver. They're amazing people and have since become wonderful friends of mine. For this portrait session Drummond surprised Kara with a day full of birthday celebrations. A horse and carriage showed up at their home to take them for a stroll around their neighborhood. As the carriage turned the corner back to their home, I was standing there with my camera recording this part of their story. We took a ton of photos around their home, played in the backyard and enjoyed a delicious birthday cake. This is one of my favorite photos from our afternoon together. It captures the magic in their home and hearts. You can't help but smile and feel the joy these three create together.
